To the users of this Message Board. The VRCC Bulletin Board is a forum for everyone that owns or is interested in the "Cruiser of the Decade", the Honda Valkyrie. To keep this board a place where all participants feel safe and comfortable, as it is in all communities — both real and virtual — a code of conduct is necessary. Therefore, to ensure a pleasant atmosphere, all users of the VRCC Bulletin Board are asked to abide by the following guidelines.
1.) When posting to the VRCC Bulletin Board, you agree to use a real username or handle, provide accurate information (i.e., true name or handle and current, valid e-mail address). You acknowledge that you will not impersonate any message board participants.
If any information provided is discovered to be false, the VRCC Administrator has the right to terminate your profile and refuse any current and future access to the message board. 2.) Your words are your own. Lively participation is vital to the board's success, but please remember that we are communicating without the benefit of body language and voice inflection. Words can sometimes be misinterpreted. The use of "emoticons" can help you to give the gist of your message.

Please feel free to use these to help set the tone of the message. It is imperative that participants converse in a courteous, respectful manner. Differing opinions and viewpoints are normal and foster lively debate, but please keep your comments relevant to the subject being discussed and not about the person who offers a differing opinion than your own.
Personal attacks are disruptive to the board and will not be tolerated. Harassing, offensive, vulgar, abusive, hateful or bashing comments; and similar pictures or links, especially those aimed at sexual orientation, gender, race, color, religious views, national origin or disability — are not allowed and will be deleted. There are plenty of places on the Internet where you can find nude pictures. This is not one of them. If you wish to post nude pictures, do so on one of the boards or groups where it is acceptable. You acknowledge that you will not harass or threaten any message board participants. Other than that; passionate, opinionated debates and even arguments are what makes this forum worthwhile. If it's on your mind, then let it fly, just be cool about it, and don't say anything that you wouldn't say face to face. We are all friends here, and we should treat each other as such. If you aren't sure what all this means, click here to read
Rules of the Road.
3.) Any opinions and recommendations expressed in the message board are those of the person expressing such views. The VRCC is not responsible for and does not assume any liability for the comments and opinions expressed by its members.
4.) The VRCC Bulletin Board does not allow any unlawful, harmful, threatening, sexually explicit, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, racial and/or ethnic slurs; hateful content; or otherwise objectionable material.
Please avoid profanity, as there are many other creative forms of expressing yourself! Have you heard about a great deal from a commercial vendor? 5.) We would prefer to keep the boards free of blatant advertising. That said, one of the great things about the boards, is to be able to share information with one another. We encourage product reviews and opinions.
If you happen upon a deal from a commercial enterprise, please contact the VRCC Support Staff at
vrccstaff@gmail.com before posting any offer, as we have had some commercial enterprises abuse this and undermine our paying sponsors.
6.)
